My son loves to help us cook.

And he loves to watch the Food Network Channel.

Sometimes he even asks to watch it over

"kids shows" like Super Why and Special Agent Oso...

Recently he's been wanting to help chop up food.

Like the sausage for our breakfast burritos

and the strawberries for our homemade strawberry ice cream.

Of course he only got to use a plastic knife.

I think this kid has bright cooking skills in his future! :)
