What an emotional journey yesterday was! After being upset by the news of the induction and taking time to be ok with the waiting, my doctor called last night to personally apologize for the misunderstanding about the induction scheduling process. It appears that it changed since I gave birth to Evan. (A bit of better communication about the process in the doctor's office would have saved us all some grief, but can't change things now...) It meant a lot to me that Dr. Shaner would call me on his own time after work to apologize. That really would have been enough. But not for him. He went over to the hospital this morning, pulled a few strings, and was able to move my induction date to TONIGHT! I'm so thankful for the news...and the sheer fact that he was willing to do that for us. So tonight we wait for a call from the hospital sometime after 8pm, and then we go in! I'm so overwhelmed knowing that our lives are about to change...We can't wait to meet our little girl and hold her in our arms! :) Thanks to everyone who has been praying for us!!
