Evan's First Carnival Ride

The last weekend in June, the Fireman's Picnic was in Red Bud. And although I would not have normally gone, my mom bought Evan some ride tickets, so we couldn't say no. Unfortunately, Evan had been sick all weekend long. So we waited until Sunday night, the last night of the carnival, which turned out to have better weather and fewer drunks. :) Evan was such a trooper! He got on the rides with a little help from mommy, but rode them all by himself! And even if he wasn't smiling, he sure did have fun because he couldn't stop talking about it--especially the part when we rode the ferris wheel and he was bending over the bar looking for his mama and baby Haven! :)
