34 Weeks

34 Weeks (a few days later than I usually post...)

Last night I was having some pretty strong contractions, so my doctor gave me an internal exam to see what was going on. I'm happy to report that as of today, I'm 1 cm dilated and 75% effaced. I'm totally excited about the progress! To be in "active labor" (i.e. a trip to the hospital) I need to get to 3 cm. When I was admitted to the hospital when I had Evan, I was 3 cm dilated and 85% effaced...but I had been dilated at 1 cm for about 3 or 4 weeks before that. So I'm expecting another 3-5 weeks with this one, but praying for the three! :)
